Samantha is going to school?!?!?!

Okay... I know 2 posts in 2 days? shocking! :)

But something exciting is happening tomorrow! My lil Samantha is going to school! It does not seem possible!

This time last year, I was struggling to make it through high school tennis season. These girls try to give me a heart attack normally and being 7 -9 months pregnant was not helping the situation! Samantha was getting bigger and more uncomfortable to carry with each passing day. The anxiety of season and the anxiety of having a child was almost too much to handle. And I was H-U-G-E!

And now my Samantha is all grown up. :) Or just 10 months. I love my mama time, but Samantha needs social interaction. She gets so excited to see other kids and starts screaming "baby" everywhere and anywhere. We were once at my outdoor courts and she got so excited to see another baby that she literally screamed in the little girl's face. It was a scream of joy and excitement, but that poor little girl looked at Samantha and started to cry at the top of her lungs! I hope she doesn't scare any small children tomorrow!!!

1 of 2 things is going to happen tomorrow:
1. She is going to be a devil child- not share, scream and want all the attention OR
2. She is going to go nuts with the other kids and scare all of her future friends away!

I hope she will be excited and not scare anyone away with her "intense" personality. Her smile and excitement can be infectious and I hope that the other kids enjoy her. She is her mama's happy lil baby with big dimples and an infectious laugh. Hopefully all the other kids and teachers will see her as the same!

My mantra as I lay down to bed tonight: "please be a good baby. please make lots of friends and please oh please don't make any other babies cry!"

  1. I want to see pregnant belly pictures- a comparison, then and now! (this is really Sarah O'Connor, not Ryan. He doesn't care for belly pictures!)
