IT'S HERE!

The day has finally arrived!  Woohoo!  After talking about it for months, purchasing it and then waiting for it, delivery day finally arrived!

Baby girl and I were up and moving early this morning due to a Christmas Sale at Macy's.  I was standing in line for my delicious Caramel Brulee latte at Starbucks when an unfamiliar number called.  I anxiously answered and the delivery man said, "Just want to be sure you are home this afternoon.  Delivery is running 2 hours ahead of schedule."  WOOHOO!

We got home and I tried my hardest to hold baby girl off for a loooong afternoon nap.  Needless to say, she fell asleep at the lunch table while I was working on our crockpot meatballs.  3 hour nap is what I was hoping for and she almost made it.  But the delivery guys were just a little too loud.  (How can you not be when delivering a treadmill to a basement??)  So right before they left, baby girl popped up.

So my new treadmill was calling my name from downstairs and I couldn't even enjoy it yet.  But lo and behold she fell asleep on the couch about 1.5 hours later.  So I carried her upstairs and quickly ran down to run the inaugural run before she woke up.  It didn't last long, but a run is a run!

I promised newbie I would take it easy on my first few runs to acclimate my body to the much squishier than outside surface.  Hence the slowness of this run, but no matter what...

I WAS HAPPY!
(Please ignore the fact that our basement has no ceiling!)

After baby girl called out "Mama" about 100 times, we decided to have a tea party!  So she invited her friends to my bed, ahem I mean table, and we had a wonderful Christmas tea party with Christmas Bear, Christmas Dog, her monkey and Minnie Mouse.

What a great way to end the day!  My little one has always been able to entertain herself.  I cannot wait to see where this imagination of hers is going to take us.

Here is hoping for another run tomorrow!

AHEM...  just a little Thanks to NEWBIE for the Treadmill.
He feels as if this is a bad gift for Christmas.  He is equating it to purchasing me a vacuum.  I said the 2 do not even compare.  So thank you hubs for buying me EXACTLY what I wanted for Christmas!
